Fort Vincennes, Indiana

 

·  Fort Sackville - Vincennes, Indiana, in 1779. Built in 1777 by Lieut. Governor Abbott of Detroit, who took over the place for the British in that year. It was captured from the British by the Americans under General Rogers Clark in 1779.
