Jarrod B. Tessier, 50, of Galesburg, passed away on Wednesday, May 8th, 2024 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.

Jarrod was born on December 20, 1973 in Galesburg. He was the son of Keith and Rahnee (Westfall) Tessier. Surviving Jarrod are his brother T.J. (Sarah) Tessier of Knoxville, niece and nephew, Jack and Lily; his mother, Rahnee; grandmother, Mona Wilmot-Tessier; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Dean and Alice Tessier, Wilbur and Nancy Westfall, and his father, Keith.

Jarrod was a graduate of Knoxville High School. He was a member of the Gilson Church as a child and later in life, Calvary Church in Galesburg. He was an avid fan of the University of Michigan, St. Louis Cardinals and Chicago Bears. He enjoyed being outdoors and landscaping. He was very social and often called the "Life of the Party."

Cremation rites have been accorded. A graveside service will be held 10 AM, on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at the Gilson Cemetery, Gilson. Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Homes and Crematory in Knoxville are assisting the family with arrangements.
