Microhistoire de la descendance d'Urbain Tessier, fils, petit-fils et arrière petit-fils
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of Paul Tessier Sr, age 68. After years of battling dementia, he is at peace now.
Paul is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Judy Tessier, his son, Paul Tessier Jr, his daughter and son-in-law, Larissa and Anthony King, two granddaughters, Makayla and Olivia King, his mother, Rita Tessier, and his sister, Christine Hobbs, as well as nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father Robert Tessier, his brother Peter Tessier, and his sister Pattie Quint.
Paul was born in Salem, Massachusetts, where he spent the greater part of his life. Many of his youthful years were involved with the SeaScouts, making memories and life-long friends. Paul met Judy as her mechanic. She didn’t know it yet, but he started fixing a lot more than just her car. What started as friendship flourished in to love. They soon created a family together. Paul worked hard at Suburnban Oil as an oil burner technician. Then became a milkman for Westlynn Creamery where he always provided and supported his family. He was able to transfer his job to Meadow Gold Dairy in Colorado where Paul and his family moved to in 2007,and began to enjoy life beyond work. On his days off, Paul could be found spending time with his family, grilling on the patio, or hanging out with the granddaughters and friends. After he retired, Paul enjoyed bike riding, kayaking, and going on long walks with his best friends; his wife Judy and his dog Benji.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to place a memorial tribute bench along one of his most loved walking/bike trails. Paul would have appreciated being able to provide a safe spot one last time for his loved ones. Please reach out to Larissa, Judy or Paul Jr if you would like to make a contribution.

Raymond J Tacey of Essexville, Michigan passed away June 27, 2024, at the age of 87. He was born January 5, 1937, to the late Raymond A and Elizabeth MTacey, in Hampton Township, Bay County, Michigan.
He married Bernadine M Talaga on May 25, 1963, at St. John Catholic Church of Essexville. After a long and happy life, she predeceased himon April 18,2023. Their partnership was full of love that extended beyond marriage as they worked together over the years on the family farm.
Raymond was a lifelong farmer, following in his father’s footsteps. For over 50 years he grew potatoes that he and Bernadine would sort, bag and ship to customers in Romulus, MI. Asthings became more automated, and with the help of his nephew Jerry Talaga, they would pack and shipsemi-truck loads for businesses like Kroger, Walmart, Meijer and more.Eventually, Jerry purchased the farm and has continued the family tradition. Raymond enjoyed “semi-retirement” by helping during the planting and harvesting ofsugar beets, soybeans and field corn. He was fond of the camaraderie when he and fellow farmers got together during these special times, especially when the “food truck” arrived with a hearty meal to enjoy in the field, from the back of a vehicle. Raymond was not only a farmer but a great friend to all. He planted wisdom in those he mentored, harvested laughs from all around him, and grew a rich and fulfilling life for his family.
His legacy lives on through the fields he tended, the friendships he cultivated and the shared meals that nourished both body and soul. We fondly remember him and all the other farmer friends and family that are no longer with us.
Surviving him are brothers in law: David Talaga, Ray (Dorla) Talaga; sisters-in-law: Sally Tacey, Gail Talaga, Betty Talaga; niece, Bonnie Talaga; nephew, Jerry (Kathy) Talaga; great nephew, Andrew Talaga; many other beloved nieces, nephew, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by his brother; Leslie Tacey;sister; Carolyn Talaga; brothers in law;Eugene Talaga, Roy Talaga, John Talaga.

Craig was born in Ypsilanti Michigan on February 12, 1951 to Robert and Lois Jean Santure. Craig graduated from the University of Michigan to become an engineer. Later, his career with the Chrysler Corporation would bring him to Missouri, then to Illinois where he would retire after 40+ years.
Having grown up in a farming family, Craig took great pride in raising prize winning show cows as a member of 4-H. As an adult, he enjoyed traveling, particularly when riding his Harleys. He took enjoyment in simple pleasures such as spending time with family and friends, shooting pool, hunting and fishing, rooting for the St. Louis Cardinals, drinking a beer, attending concerts, and even watching Hallmark movies. Some of his favorite moments were when he could inspire or help others by supporting veterans and children, most notably when he would play Santa to underprivileged children.
He is survived by his three children, Patrick Benzinger, Crystal (David) Millering, and Amanda Santure, and two grandchildren, Luke Benzinger and Tyler Millering, beloved cat Buddy, two sisters, Judy Nick) Bauder and Karen Waeltermann, and many nieces and nephews.
