Sgt. Richard Albert Joseph, a resident of West Lorne, passed away peacefully at Four Counties Health Services, Newbury on Saturday July 13, 2024 at the age of 81. Born in Cornwall ON on December 19, 1942, son of the late Anatole and Antoinette (Emond) Tessier. Richard retired after 27 years of service in the Royal Canadian Air Force. Beloved husband of the Late Nancy Ann (Brothers) Tessier (2019). Loving father of Michael Tessier (Wendy) of West Lorne. Loving Grandpa of Erek (Nicole), Jaclyn Corey, Jeremy (Lyndsey), Jason, Jenifer, Stephen (Shanaya), and Tim. Sadly missed by his Great-Grandchildren Payslie, Titan, Keegan, Madison, Connor, Keira, Sophia, Olivia, Kylee, Gabriel, Annabelle, Easton, Natalya, Theadora, Emme, Oaklynn, Joseph and Luna. Dear brother of Roger Tessier (Late Gail), Adelard Tessier (late Rolande), Robert Tessier (Lucy). Predeceased by his sister Diane and her husband Lionel. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. At Richard’s request cremation has taken place. Funeral Services will be held in Belleville at a later date. If desired donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated.
