Maurice Richard TESSIER

Maurice Richard Tessier, 88, of Franklin husband of the late Ann (Begin) Tessier passed away Monday February 17, 2025 at Backus Hospital.

Born on January 21, 1937 in Willimantic, CT he was the son of the late Victor and Lucienne (Fournier) Tessier. He worked as a farmer until retiring, and then worked as a security guard at the Franklin Mushroom Farm and also a valet at Gates Buick GMC in North Windham. He was a former ring master at the Southern New England Livestock Auction in Franklin, he loved golf cart riding, birds and visiting his friends on the weekend at the Franco American Club and at the Knights of Columbus.

He is survived by his daughters, Jacqueline Hollis and fiancé Alan Boucher and Susan Tessier both of Franklin; a granddaughter Taylor Korenkiewicz; and a great grandson Rylan Hemingway He was predeceased by his granddaughter Nicole Hollis.
