Aurèle TESSIER

 Aurele was born in Sudbury, on February 11, 1936, to Victor and Leonore Tessier. It is with heavy hearts that we announce his passing, on February 24, 2026, at 90 years of age. Cherished husband of Betty for 70 years. Beloved father of Lisa (Curtis) Freeborn. Loving Papa of Katelyn and Jacob. Dear brother of Gérald (Claire) Tessier and brother-in-law of Doris (the late Jack) Evans. He was predeceased by his siblings Hector (Gabrielle) Tessier, Simone (Lindsay) Sammon, Aurore Tessier, Raymond (Catherine) Tessier, Alcide (Thérèse) Tessier, Roger (Anita) Tessier, Fernand Tessier, and Emile Tessier. He will be sadly missed by his entire family and many friends. Special thank you to the Juravinski Hospital and St. Peter's Hospital for their care and compassion.



Aurele retired from Dofasco after 40 years of service. He enjoyed his family cottage in Timmins, where he loved to fish, camp, and hunt. He was a talented woodworker and love to dance with his wife Betty.
