Patricia passed away peacefully on Friday, April 3, 2026, at McLaren Bay Region. She was 59 years old.



Patricia was born in Bay City, Michigan, to the late John and Suzanne (Kabacinski) Tacey. She graduated from Garber High School in Essexville. Patricia was a woman of the Catholic faith and at one time attended St. Jude Thaddeus Parish - St. John’s Church in Essexville.



Patricia enjoyed many simple pleasures in life. She loved listening to rock music, had a fondness for horses, and had a passion for horticulture. She also enjoyed going out for dinner, especially to Krzysiak's House Restaurant in Bay City. Patricia will be remembered for her gentle spirit and the quiet joys she found in the things she loved.



She is survived by her brother, Kevin (Lorraine) Tacey; her sister, Aileen (David) Hecht; her nephews, Ian and Eli Hecht; her uncles, Michael P. Tacey, Larry D. (Margaret) Tacey, Dennis R. (Janine) Tacey; and Chris (Kay) Kabacinski. She is also survived by many cousins and extended family members.



Patricia was preceded in death by her parents John and Suzanne and several aunts and uncles.



Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Squires Funeral Home, 211 North Henry Street, Bay City, Michigan 48706. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:00 noon until the time of the service at 1:30 p.m.
