TESSIER – Kaitlynn

After a short but fierce fight with cancer, Kaitlynn passed away

peacefully on November 21, 2024, at the age of 36, surrounded by

family and friends.

Best friend and beloved fiancé to Adam Savel. Adored daughter of

Joanne Tessier and Normand Tessier and granddaughter to Shirley

Smykalski, predeceased by John Smykalski and Thérèse and Jean Baptiste

Tessier. Cherished sister to Lindsay Tessier, Ashlee Lavallee (Mike)

and Tanner Tessier. Loving aunt to Chase, Carter, and Roman, though

affectionately known as Aunty Kait to all the children in her life.

Treasured daughter-in-law to Kathy and Luis and Rick and Cheryl and

their families. She will also be dearly missed by her beloved fur

babies, Marv and Jep.

Kaitlynn had a heart of gold and a deep love for all things clean,

white and minimalist. Her smile was bright, full of love, and radiated

kindness. She loved a perfectly organized kitchen, a leisurely stroll

through Home-Sense, cuddling with her pets while watching reality TV,

attending Jays games with Adam, and keeping up her perfect streak on

Duolingo. Most of all she loved celebrating and lifting up the people

around her and making their lives brighter, as can be attested by her

many devoted friends.

Kaitlynn was an integral part of the St. George-German School Family

and will be sorely missed. She was the smiling face of the school –

the first, most caring person that the staff, students, and community

members interacted with in the office. She was the giver of bandaids

and ice and the solver of problems for students and staff.

We invite all who knew her and would like to join us for a celebration

of life on November 30, 2024, from 1-4 pm at McCleister Funeral Home,

495 Park Rd N, Brantford, ON. If desired, we encourage you to wear

something white for Kaitlynn, she would have loved it!

The family would also like to thank her caring team of Doctors and Nurses

at the Brantford General Hospital.
